Jordi Delgado

Jordi was born in Granollers (Barcelona) in 1984. He studied Computer Science at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. Last year he finished his last degree project on Computer Science at the PIC. The project, coordinated by Diego Mostaccio (professor at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona) and Yolanda Vives (PIC coordinator of “Medical Imaging Group”), relates a new web portal called PICNIC (Port d’Informació Científica NeuroImaging Center) to provide technological tools like a Database, a visualisation system, a web Interface and remote access to image post-processing software to neuroradiological researchers so that they can deal easily with a large volume of medical images. Jordi is also interested in artificial inteligence, bioinformatics and services related to cluestering and grid computing.
