Vanessa Acín

Vanessa was born in Sabadell (Barcelona) in 1973. She studied Technical Engineer in La Salle (Barcelona) from 1991 until 1995 and holds a master in Telematics (1996) at ICT (Institut Català de Tecnología). Her first job was as computer user’s support in a financial company. After that, she worked as Network and Security engineer in IBM and later developed a several years professional career in EDS (Electronic Data System) as Computer engineer in charge of Systems Administration focused on security and monitoring integrated applications.

At the time of the grownup, she joined the PIC in 2008 to collaborate in the development, consolidation and management of the Infrastructures Area that she currently coordinates.
